Loving all the Outlooks just issued from everybody from Dan to Nick F to Paul Blight on Ukww.

The Cone of Silence (Extreme SE Essex) Lives on and manages to miss absolutely everything

Now there is an outside chance at some Overnight Imports tomorrow night as well not being picked up by too many models atm and that is on a collision course for the areas not included in Todays, Tonights and tomorrow daytimes risk. I would expect this to also swerve away to the west as well as we get closer.

Good luck to all away from SE Essex as there are plenty of chances over the next 48 hours for someone to get something severe

F5 key is getting a workout at the moment. I'm glued to my velux windows watching the red kites and lovely cloud formations.

Rare to see professional forecasters talking about the possibility of supercells & tornadoes!

Some development south to me.

Will probably do the die in Bedford thing and then go on to be an storm.

@Zak M see anything interesting by you?

No thunder obviously but some briefly torrential rain just went though here.

Interesting little "feature" fired up, unfortunately we are too close it in its infancy to possibly benefit...

I believe this is/was/are a pre-frontal feature that was suggested late last night in some discussions I read on UKWW.

There was some uncertainty how developed this would become - but it was always highly unlikely it would amount to much more than a mild squall

Yep, heavy showers according to the radar to my SE but I can't really see anything. They must be elevated.

Still quite murky, but a very close, muggy feel to things. Not felt anything like this in a while. Almost Singapore-Esque

Gone quite dark. Funny, i think to myself whist sitting on the loo how much everything sounds like thunder when you really would like a storm.

Glad I’m not the only one who gets that! Makes me feel like I’m going insane haha

I'm keeping an eye on the stuff that's just starting to bubble up to the east of me, over the Pennines, has a very condensed blobby look to it, but judging by the movement it'll just skirt us to the North

Been watching the torrential rain on the Webcam that's up there too.

Quite a downpour occurred here moments after fitting the new rain tipper in my station. Very gusty winds with it, and a tiny little bit of hail.

Lovely dark and thundery look to the skies to the SE as this front moves in.
