A quick recap of my day, without getting too waffly. It has been an absolute classic and my favourite/most successful chase so far. - started fairly benign as I failed to get a good handle on the

100% Bonafide Supercell no doubting that whatsoever 35knts of flow, Moved right of the deviant steering flow Killed off anything that came near it Like most Supercells massive uptick in

Views over Derbyshire, Birmingham and Leicestershire from Bardon Hill, Coalville. Not particularly clued up, but loving watching them! Anything to be excited about?

Mite have a chance yet Wolverhampton storm back to life and moving this way and Telford having a few strikes I believe now ?

the last pic is towards thge south east thats the direction youll need to be looking

Had a small funnel over chunal then the clouds lowered and there was complete swirl and rotation clouds going in all directions...great to see...some flashes and thunder...rain incoming...

Can still hear the odd rumble from this storm over the Peaks, but it's time to drop back south and see if those beasts in the Midlands can make it up here!

Well depending on those ones further south to survive the journey WNW.  Forecast here for tomorrow has changed from Thunderstorms to light showers.

Thundery activity seems to have been killed off in Chesire/Merseyside storm ,  cant complain, had a cracker yesterday and half decent one earlier this afternoon

Are we really gonna miss this big storm just to the west again????? That will be the 7th time a storm will be within 10 miles but not close enough to rain or see lightning in 3 days!

Earlier on there were plenty of storms right across Europe. Now it looks like the UK is the place to be (apart from Russia)
