Actually more of the West Country gets involved tomorrow as well so areas like Bristol and South Wales that sort of area. Have not looked at eastern extent yet but am guessing we will brew em up again

Looking like abit of a dead duck for this region today, I will happily be proven wrong of course!

Got a heavy downpour basically one mile to the north right now, the sky is dominated by it, yet it still refuses to rain here! Yet another downpour this month that's passed within miles.

This village surely belongs in SE Essex for the amount of rain it gets!

Lets hope they do, a repeat of Saturday Evening would be lovely, without sounding too greedy lol.

I think it is too much wishful thinking lmao! But it would be a nice surprise!

Although i have just noticed, Netweather thinks were going to have a higher chance between 19:00 & 22:00

You cannot just go on cape though Tom,there is other factors like CZ's(convergence zones),shear, lapse rates, dew points etc etc,and as is the nature of showers, some places just like the last few days get a dumping whilst most stay dry

hope that helps

Good to hear, thanks mate! Need to go check the models and see if the MCS is still on for the night time, seen a couple of people here saying it's 'on again' after your post this morning saying it looked dead!

4th thunder day of the year here in Aylesbury. One of the best years I can remember for number of thunder days so far.

I am just east in Wingrave. Was just saying it's going away but just had a massive one near by!

I agree it has been very frequent around here recently.

Yh coming back onto the 12z suites for sure. Dans not too hopeful for too many sferics at this stage but surprises always crop up, Some take it into East Anglia which would be the worst outcome, some up the Estuary and some offshore into the Channel so guessing this time tomorrow night will be a better indicator

Certainly enjoying this one, although it's probably drunk. Still, we can dream.

Will we have to see, ive saw a couple things saying storms for the Midlands tonight but anytime from 7pm till 3am lol, so we will have to see and keep checking the radar/lightning. The cells around Milton Keynes are heading up this way slowly so the forecast might be relating to those.

Sadly looks like we are out of luck for a Thundery shower today. The showers to the south of us are weakening as they edge west north west.
