Well that was bloody insane. Works car park flooded out, drains completely overwhelmed. Thunder and lightning too. What a storm.

Arome 12Z is a bit of kick in the wangers! All the convection pivots up, over and around the central south coast again tomorrow. You could not make it up!

Literally thinking the same thing. Hasn’t even rained in the south of Swansea today.

I missed that Tom! Sudden downpour now though. You’re on the same side of town as  me then!

Just a few photos from the storm that passed over me an hour ago. Marginally severe for sure, pictures don't do it justice!

Beautiful! I was on the other rather more messy side of it in North Somerset. Plenty of lightning and thunder but not great for photography.

Looks to be a few more cells developing in East Anglia now.

Radar finally showing something approaching Leeds but sadly little behind. It looks like any thunder we get tomorrow will be our haul this period.

I'm camped out in the van for the night and hoping they develop as finished work just as the Ipswich cell died

Well, the latest Arome, along with the dull layer of Altostratus we have here pretty much kills of my hope of a light show after midnight! Probably could have called this damp squib of a week on Sunday

Been on a jolly around the Peak District again, plenty of IC and CG bolts, flooding everywhere, another good day!

I’m too far away. Can’t hear a thing either cause some morons using a power drill next door. I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad

Another storm, this week has been madness up here for thunder. I think I've had more since Saturday than in the previous few years put together. I hope the south does get lucky though the arome has been wrong many times!
