Yes, had marble sized hail here in Keynsham, Bristol. Maybe marginally bigger but I've never seen anything like it!

Closest I've ever been to a strike- the strike was somewhere right above me! Nice little storm again then earlier, nothing major other than the close strike but I'd take that every day for sure! Same again  tomorrow?

Massive storm once again in Crewe, heavy rain and lots and lots of lightning and thunder. Took a while to get going and had a few false starts this afternoon but the past half hour has been brilliant. 4th day in a row here, more storms this week than in the past few years combined

Sorry @Pipine, looks like scud to me. Usually associated with an updraft and can look like ladies fingers. Only way of knowing for sure is if it was rotating.

The flash is barely visible as it was quite bright out at that point but it was instantaneous and I had the door open (usually I dont!!) So i nearly jumped out of my skin - the audio of my reaction afterwards has been cut!!!

This amazing image was captured across the East Midlands last night... Some amazing storms throughout the midlands, but unfortunately as is very often the case, some damage to homes was also evident... But  I have to say this picture is pretty amazing.

Plenty of Thunder coming from the main area of the storm to the south of us.

Something ominous just passing overhead into London. Could it develop?
