Sat in Purton on the western side of Swindon at the moment. Have heard a distant rumble and skies to the east have gone very dark.

Had a cracking storm here with torrential rain yesterday and lightning strikes at a rate of 2/3 per minute. Hoping to get similar today.

Lots of thunder but I’m just on the edge. Lighish rain here and not much lightning observed.

Still, I’m certainly not going to complain!!!

The Cone of Silence - No explanation needed but a good picture for when a book gets written about this joke of an area - Blue sky above and action all around and people wonder why I travel 4500 miles away every year

Haha, ill be honest the first one i saw was last night. Been rather unlucky round my parts, they've either seemed to miss me or die then redevelop over wolverhampton.

Here’s hoping this mess clears through so we might have a shot at something a bit later...hopefully a direct hit

We need a catchy name for Hampshire/Wiltshire/Dorset. I was thinking ‘the void’ or ‘Rhombus of solitude’

Just got on. Having a busy morning!

Wow! stuff firing up in Kent and the Far East Anglia. Plus a few beasts forming over Calais and beyond into Benelux. That’ll tee us up later hopefully with this supposed MCS

Hope I get more than just distant rumbles from the French side later lol.
