Oh I absolutely LOVE it when seeing cells just appear out of nowhere on the radar... so much more exciting.

Unless something fires to my SW around Haslemere, then I've got that familiar sinking feeling about today.

i know that feeling bud, i was in work yesterday in hungerford which had thunder and lightning but heard there was nothing in Andover.

were in a clear slot of blue sky so hopefully this will fuel the storms

Very dark skies to the South and West again for the umpteenth time this week while the Cone of Silence continues to live up to its name...

No chance of it crossing mate am watching it from Leigh Cliffs heading into London - Some nice Anvil drizzle heading our way for later though

3 Radar grabs in 5 min intervals .. stuff us just starting to build.

Suspiciously quiet over here isn't it, previous days we've had storms firing up by now!

Noooooo - looks as if (in true MCS style) the lightning activity is keeping to the edges. On this occasion, the southern edge

Give it an hour or two and there's going to be storms all over the place, the conditions seem to be absolutely perfect for growing storms.
