Looking out the window and there's already a towering CU off towards Wilmslow direction which is a good start to the day for the NW.

Suns poking through at times now mate in Brum

not here yet, always been prone here to sea mist, probably lack of high ground to the east

Debating on whether to de-mothball the van, prob needs jumping!

Or stay local? Hmmmmm. Still think I'm about 50 miles too far east atm, I prefer local as I know where all the best vantage points are, nothing worse than being stuck on a road with nowhere to pull over!

Unless something fires to my SW around Haslemere, then I've got that familiar sinking feeling about today.

Very dark skies to the South and West again for the umpteenth time this week while the Cone of Silence continues to live up to its name...

Yes, the skies very dark immediately North, wonder if Manchester will cop for it.

Wind map and weather forecast

Look at all that cloud-growth being pulled in toward the SE; I'd be shocked if Paul's COS survives today and tonight without some form of rainfall!
