Blue skies and Cumulus here atm, though more cloud than sky (75%/25% split)  Can see the high milky cloud layer to my south (go away please ) Temps already above 19C and still rising quickly, as is the dew point (16C) with humidity lurking around 80%.  Far better than yesterday.

Fingers and toes are crossed.

Are we in with a chance up this way again today?

These last few days across the Midlands and NW England have felt like I am living in Germany with daily thunderstorms. Not just weak usual British storms either, proper big things.

Plan was to edit some footage today but struggling to resist the urge to head a few miles south into the cauldron of stormage again today.

This week has been really frustrating for me.

I've been just east of every main warning area every day this week and it looks like I wil be again tomorrow.

That cell in Kent went up quick, and it is active. It looks like it is part of a trough running from France to UK. Since the air mass is so slack, I wonder where it will go to?

Just got on. Having a busy morning!

Wow! stuff firing up in Kent and the Far East Anglia. Plus a few beasts forming over Calais and beyond into Benelux. That’ll tee us up later hopefully with this supposed MCS

Looks like it’s moving very very slowly W/NW

I expect another cell to form soon next to that nice cell west of me due to an excessively growing bunch of cloud beside, can’t take a pic yet due to having lunch but if its still nice outside i will get a picky

Can CBs break through the high clouds ? Looking at sat24 , that looks to be the Case of CS England

I’m in Bristol, just over the river, and it’s full on overcast here.  Not got the same feeling about it as yesterday did.
