Hoping something finds it way up the Wirral. Got withdrawal sympton's after saturdays light show.

Haha. I saw it on the distance on Saturday. Sunday we had a cracker of a storm, yesterday had a small storm and today it’s been absolutely amazing. Been going on for 2 hours and still is. Fingers crossed for you!

The cell over Alsager is NUTS! Just a continuous non-stop rumble coming from it for the past 15 mins and it's still going on now. (sounds like a plane going overhead) (looking SSW)

You can see the sharp edge of the core and the base was moving in towards it, whilst the main cloud structure appears to be moving north. (taken 10 mins apart)

Also I think there may have been a small funnel cloud lasted about 5 mins, never got any lower and kept it's shape until it moved back up.

Cracking storm. Cloud structures we're amazing, almost constant thunder and can still hear it rumbling away!

about ready to call it a bust here tbh, annoying because yesterday had much lower risk and still had a fair few rumbles

Cell development overhead. Moving west generally, but wind is southerly. Not rotation though. Newark.

That storm is over me. I thought it stopped,  then started up again and changed direction.  It's certainly more West than NW now. It's lost a bit of its intensity tho

I heard it was a bit disappointing. A family member of mine who was in Bracknell at the time did say there was some thunder, so better than what I got earlier.

Light shower here, which I will take until I've been for my run, but rain drops the size of 50p pieces falling. Huge splats as they fall!

So the Radar around Birmingham now is finally getting interesting, looks like these showers are getting more organised

Sheffield Shield back up and running after letting a thundery shower through Monday. One storm shredded already so it looks a case of being surrounded and nothing here but light rain. At the moment sunny with towers trying to go up again.
