Which one, the one over Newport or the one over Wolverhampton?

Wolverhampton,  if you quickly run the radar images back and forward in time (really quickly) you can see the movement of the core jumping NE and 'eating' the other smaller cores around it.

Thanks, i have the extra radar so helps me learn what im looking at. TBH if it gets a bit closer i'm tempted to bomb down the M54 and see how it looks from the other side of Telford. Dont get many Supercells in Shropshire!

I'm at work in central Birmingham now. Been raining on and off here. Just worked out from New Street to the airport and back. What was noticeable looking at the skies was how solid the convection is to the north and how much more messy it is to the south and east. Hard to tell to the west where it was raining.

Boring here, nothing happening, triangle of doom again.

Currently chasing the storm NW of Wolverhampton, almost constant rumbling and flashes every 20 seconds. May have seen a wall-cloud but not clear cut at all. Now biblical rain.

Hi, just signed up as fancy a furlough storm chase! Can anyone advise where you think the most optimal vantage point is for viewing evening storms in the north west?

Can't decide to go north or south...

Reading booming away with thunder to my north, sounds great under that storm!

That'll be Newbury out of the no storms club. Some pretty intense rain and hail for a time. Looks like we're at the start of the train. Hoping for some more back-building. Another rumble as I type

Constant booming rumbles heard in Bexleyheath (NW Kent).  Seems to be coming from over the Thames South Essex way I think.

Still frequent, almost continuous rumbles coming from the E London cell. I’ve noticed at least two areas of weak rotation, one under the leading updraft.

This is the best pic I could get which is/was the area rotating, almost resembling a form of wall cloud.
