Nine massive deep long rumbles of thunder so far, I feel so happy with just that.

I can hear distant booms from Wokingham, despite being under another cell!

Yes indeed. I’m very close but can’t hear it sadly.

It’s pretty dark to my SW which is where I think it came from, so I’m guessing the cell is sitting out over the Thames, maybe more towards the Kent side

This cell is following almost the exact same path as the storm on Saturday. Going to miss here but I’ve heard two...no, make that three decent rumbles under blue skies!

Everything jumped over us in the last hour as some pretty decent storms are now raging north of us. Everything near hear collapsed and we just have rain. Shame, but can complain about these last three days in general. We are in a big dry slot after that unless anything else kicks off.

Yet again we appear to be in the gap between the action

Is that ANOTHER supercell trying to form, NW of Birmingham!  Just been scrolling the radar back and forth and there definitely NE movement on it, despite all the storms around it moving NW, and it's eating everything around it too o_O

It's finally starting to look much more promising here now. There's a line of towering cumulus a few miles to my east and looks like it will drop some rain very soon.

Only had 2 rumbles here but that’s 2 more than I was expecting today so that’s something

It’s gonna be a direct hit! I knew when there was cumulus before 8am we would see something today. Producing Sferics, hopefully With the cap well and truly gone and hearing over the city it intensifies rather than weakening.

Indeed - I’m pleased I can at least hear some thunder has got a really decent height on it and a very interesting base, although the base is partially obscured by the houses

Thunder becoming really quite frequent too.
