There's been a shower just to my east that's barely moved and been back-building for the last hour or so. Slowly growing in intensity, but hasn't electrified.

I'll consider myself quite lucky if it does tbf.

Too far south for any storms right on the coast here but some lovely clouds bubbling away out over the Solent and towards the new forest right now

Is it the sea breeze that's stopping anything from forming in this area?

@Sparkiee storm If you look over our area, I can understand why they wont form over us.

20200616_141957.thumb.jpg.f6d551d58c304fb25176e35880adb3c4.jpgAha! Rumbles of thunder and a classic dark CN on our southern horizon!  Sun belting down here in a humid day after this morning's shower. And it's enough to spark of a storm.

Just watching now in case it does a 90 right and avoids us...

Watching that now, satellite suggests I might have a chance of it veering toward me, but watch it go to Reading yet again!

Thursday looking quite extreme across southern England with wind convergence and a possible squall line forming. This is the real chance for London to get something big I hope. Currently watching those cells around Crawley
