Well, at least it looks more promising than yesterday in these parts. Sky is absolutely full of chunky CU, with some dark bases already going on.

According to the radar it should be tipping it down here... there is NOTHING!  Must be evaporating on the way down.  meh...

No worries! I pressed 'submit reply' and it just appeared! I was able to remove it with an edit so it should be gone now. There are definitely some funny gremlins in the system on this forum!

This entire week really giving off June 2016 vibes.

Not really as that year loads of showers were building just off shore and Dover got at least three down bursts out of it, I got court out in on of them, drenched in seconds, and the wind. And hundreds of more normal small storms too, this isn't hitting the south at all.

Little beefy shower near Birmingham went from nothing to this in 10 minutes.

I think he meant in terms of thunderstorms developing somewhere in the UK day after day, rather then the specific locations seeing the storms.

Not too optimistic about my chances if I stay put. Finish work at 5 and think I'll head West through the Peak District  towards the Cheshire border. Top of the Cat & Fiddle road would probably be a good vantage point.

Yeah it's me with my small pics again.

Met O has changed me from sun all day to these lovely black/yellow things.

One of my favourite vantage points, The Cat.  Good luck.

Yep but those storms that year did miss the se they were proper widespread, is what I meant. It doesn't matter though lol. Let's see what happens today, having as much fun watching UK footage, as I do watching the US ones normally lol.
