Yes that's right. Still flashing and rumbling away too. Don't know if it'll come this way but still good to witness it from afar.

Don't think it will come this way tbh, but the curve on the back edge might give a little something perhaps if it manages to continue to develop but i agree still pretty nice watching it in the distance.

We're almost encircled by storms at the moment (and the remnants of one). I'd hoped for some rain from the Southerly mass, just for some hay fever relief!

yeah and typically it just disappeared ad it hit Brum

There's a hook developing on the latest radar to the storm just west of Coventry. Interesting...

Got distant lightning looking to the south illuminating the cloud tops, also spotted a Starlink Pass going overhead for a short time which was quite surreal.

I can imagine, was it a close CG?

Meh, just got kicked out of the bedroom I was hanging out of the window off watching it, as my mother has decided to go bed early..... perfectly bad timing as per usual. Least I got to see a few flashes, one of which arched out of the cloud, traveling a fair distance before going back into it, and one that seemed to be directly overhead, thunder started less than a second after the flash and had that sharpness to it.

I suspect it may have been Intra-cloud but ran the full length/height due to how bright it was overhead, and how bright it was for you far away, the thunder still seemed somewhat "muted" for a CG strike (given how close it was it would have been louder if it was a ground strike), but i could be wrong.

Okay, that's enough recording now. Almost dropped my phone out the window.
