I’m right under it. It’s a beauty. Constant lightning. Very slow moving, been going a good half an hour now

Jealous   Birmingham has managed to avoid all of them today haha.

Just got back home after 3 hours and lots of flash flooding and some great lightning. Got on the cell near Sandbach and followed to Middlewich and then Winsford.

In the side roads there I witnessed a 4 minute half condensed cone funnel cloud about a mile South East of me.

Noticed the storm immediately before looked sort of surface based with rising motion and a sort of mesocyclone shape to it and 2 minutes later a large funnel over the fields. Video to come

Brilliant. Can’t wait

Was hoping that cell near Newport and Stafford would stay electric so I could see some of the flashes as it approaches but seems to have died out for now.

This cell STILL hasn’t produced any lightning...

Looks to be a couple of new ones developing to the right of it though

There looks like there's a funnel cloud just above the dark horizontal band a split second (time-lapse wise) before the rain hits, coming down from the top right hand corner!

Arome was pretty much spot on regarding tonight. Definitely a model to watch over the next couple of days at least.
