Just revisited that Manchester cell on the radar and the size and rotation on that thing was phenomenal. I've not seen anything like that (over the UK) in a while.

Can't wait for what tomorrow has to bring some of us.

Did a timelapse of its approach and passage. I don't think it does it justice, you can see visibilty and darkness for a second or two as the hail core strikes

Wow!

Think I will go to bed then, I’m in the triangle of doom.

Great timelapse. Sadly you weren’t in the best position due to the precip to see any rotation, though can certainly see the shear and change in wind direction when comparing the approach and departure of the storm

Truly loving the view of the supercell here. Can’t wait to be hit by this thing!

Big towers shooting up near me

It’s going to be a noisy night for someone...

The cell leaving Macclesfield and approaching Manchester looks dodgy to me at the moment also, and it’s kicking out some frequent lightning too.

Sorry - am taking about the same cell as @Paul Sherman - didn’t realise where Congleton is

Watched it earlier before it moved away from Macclesfield, saw about 7 IC's and 2 CC's . Sorry didn't see much of the structure, view was limited.

Just for a bit of fun Dan sent me this of the Manchester Supercell, Ordinarily with a right mover it would move SE away from any NE Moving storm and seeing as this is the opposite flow he flipped the image 180 degrees. The results are telling and with 35knts of flow amazing UK Supercell

Last time they shared it was the Chertsey Tornado on a tweet. Can't recall any other time.

Another storm coming this way from Telford/Ironbridge. Can already hear the distant rumbles. Round 3 today and 4 for the week! Madness.

All getting a bit confusing, seems to be a lot of "hit & run" electrical activity. I suppose that's the way with pulse storms.

That storm up in Manchester looks amazing from what i can see from the videos. Not jealous at all

Plenty of time still this week for that to happen elsewhere as it looks at the moment!
