Typical how the Manchester Airport webcam is facing the wrong way as it would be great viewing of the storm as it passes up the west side of the airport

EDIT They have turned it towards the storm

Should I get excited or am I too far north, assuming it doesn’t die?

Bit miffed at missing that and some of the storms today but got a great storm yesterday so can't complain. Here's a quick pic looking North from here.

Been watching the Cheshire storm on radar for an hour. Would love to see more pics of it because on radar it certainly looks supercellish. Long lived and keeps restructuring too. Would love a clear timelapse from the se of the storm!

Not if you have a car and are prepared to drive

To be in Sale or Stratford now - right on the edge of the structure, bucket loads of lightning and a (potential) wall cloud going on. Given the limited detail on radars there’s a little notch right on the eastern side of the heaviest precipitation, sliding past these areas now.

The Manchester storm certainly looks like a big one but am not knowlegable enough to say wheather it could be a supercell, guess its not an MCS?

Second photo looks excellent. Will this be on your regular timelapse or wrong direction?
