Sadly looks like we are out of luck for a Thundery shower today. The showers to the south of us are weakening as they edge west north west.

Eastern side has some life but that's not saying much. It hasn't looked particularly impressive throughout its life cycle so far.

Well, although the SW generally didn't get storms today, - it has been a really good day for the UK so far
From about 8am , a Thunderstorm rolled up form Oswestry ,. hit Snowdonia, where few and far between Sferics lit up for several hours.
Before more storms gathered around midday , - Manchester, Mid Wales ,.

then into the evening where the UK where the heavy precip is looking more like my Acne covered face during my teen and early 20s hehe

Back in town as another cell goes north of town and something building southwest.

Not had a direct hit on town but been stuff drifting past on all directions last couple of days.

It just doesn't seem to have any oomph around here yet.

Isn't that rotating the other way(clockwise) to what they usually do,anti-clockwise?

Will we have to see, ive saw a couple things saying storms for the Midlands tonight but anytime from 7pm till 3am lol, so we will have to see and keep checking the radar/lightning. The cells around Milton Keynes are heading up this way slowly so the forecast might be relating to those.

Its one of those 50/50 situations i think, hopefully we are lucky!

*shrugs* I can't tell too well from the video. Having had a brief dig around on Twitter there are alternative views...

Yes the Notts cell isn't doing a whole lot. Wonder why that is?  Still plenty warm up here at 22C and 15C dewpoint.
