Very quick developments around here. Just heard thunder to the south. And again. Second consecutive thunder day. Very rare around here. Sounds over new Brighton way.

About 8 more rumbles since I started typing this. Getting really frequent now.

It's just over the sea Chris heading your way

Really gusty here at least 40-50mph if not more chucking it down with hail. And constant rumbling and strikes now.

Well that was a nice starter. Still producing occasional lightning over the sea and now I can hear rumbles I think from another cell. Stayed far enough away so that it didn’t rain which was good. Sun is coming back out again now.

Glad you're experiencing some, as anything that may pass west of me looks like it will shoot out west before hitting the Wirral.

At least 1cm hail here at it's biggest and it's being blown around by the wind. Constant flashes and thunder pretty wild out there.

Was hoping that the one heading my way (from Tamworth) would rebuild into a monster, like the one last night, but nope, just the odd fat raindrop.

Here's hoping for the next one!

The Sun is out strong again and it feels unbearably humid now after that. DP is 16.1°C.

There is the cat and fiddle web cam, if you tap the image it clicks to an image of flash, tap it again you then get an image out over the cheshire plain to the Dee estuary, I think it refreshes every minute, for some reason my tablet wont download the cam.  I wondered if any of the Wrexham cell can be picked up on it.
