All quiet here now, wow that storm was so fantastic but fairly short lived, brill!!

Storm gone out to sea now where it seemed to re energise electrically for a while.......still raining and can see an odd flash of lightning from it.

My brother lives down the road in Flint, he says there's quite a bit of rumbling and flashing going on there at the moment.

Seems our side of the Midlands (East) has been really unlucky over the past few years compared to the West Midlands. 

We seem to only get anything from a direct southerly.

Not bad in the end. Some awesome photos and footage!

Just read on Twitter that Germany has recorded over 350,000 lightning strikes today alone however . (Now yesterday)
