SE Cloud cover, looks very thundery, over head almost like sunset, - I'm sure that there must be some decent towering ,. but so far just a moderately heavy shower 6miles to our South

Well a couple of heavy showers just approaching, nothing very exciting though. Has anywhere on the mainland even had a storm yet? Mega fail from the bbc!!

Yep. Let’s see if nocturnal cooling can help a bit as we go through the evening. Don’t give up hope till after sunset.

Is that dry pocket due to disappear this evening? May be our best bet with the cooling.

I can see to my south looking towards you two or three much larger clouds now, they are starting to tower up high but still on small side at mo. Wind is slowly dropping off, still keeping my hopes high.
