UKV showed it on yesterday's 12Z.

It did.

But there’s also past events that the Euro 4 has called, and often nailed them. It called the bust last month with them storms developing offshore. A very good track record it has attained.

Some development in south wales

Interestingly ventusky has pushed mid Wales cape up to 800j/kg.  Manchester cape dropped to 600j/kg. Hmmm.

There must be one hell of a cap here because none of these 'bubbly' clouds seems to be developing into storms in nw Wales. Saying that, I've sat in the garden all afternoon, it's hot in the sun and there's a nice warm breeze picking up now.

The skies have cleared here, so I think it’s time for me to throw the towel in on this one today. :oldsad:

Anyway... This is the current state of where the lightning is at this moment, so good luck to everyone else with this today. :oldgood:

The warm mid level nose not doing us any favours. A bit of luck maybe?

A couple of heavy down poors now, well needed, and a couple of distant rumbles so far. Let's hope these things continue and get stronger.

The unstable air clearly rocketing in through Kent right now. Look at the development on the downpour just passing Maidstone - there is 5 mins between these radar grabs

This country is pathetic for storms. There's always some parameter that is off that ends up bringing the whole potential down.

A 'warm nose' I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad

Skies seem to be getting a bit more organised up here now. Clouds are larger based and have much more clear air between them letting more sun through. Temps still rising slowly again also, around 23C now.
