Its on the way, but the question is will is stay thundery or re invigorate or even make it/move to the UK?

Time will tell, models cant help us now. Radar watching and Lightning Map watching is required.

Majority of lightning, if any, will be on the Eastern extent of that mass of rain.

I personally think it’s looking much better for it to hit land all of a sudden, maybe London will get electrical release from the east

Band of dynamic rainfall at best for those across NE England.

I think everyone here knows what I'm hoping for...

You're still seeing them anyway even if they do drift off to Norway.

Ah nice thanks.

The one on that last cam is going in a very pleasant westerly direction so hopefully people in Essex will get lucky later tonight

Essex ? You a comedian - It has not come up against the Cone of Silence where we endured 3 levels of drizzle tonight

Safe to say I wont keep me windows open for it

Plenty of convective, heavy rainfall today with another line of cells passing over me now heading WNW.  Nothing more than that though.

At the moment my radar app seems to be saying that the rain will slip above me

Alexa and weather forecasting don't go well together. Probably worse than the fairly useless apps

Today has been one of the worst summer days I can ever remember, cold, grey, drizzle. Awful, it could easily be mid autumn.

Roll on tomorrow and some sunshine back at least

Cold, grey drizzle interspersed with cold, grey, windy downpours here! Not great out the window but somethings arriving from the SE on the radar. I live in hope....

Yes. It's just some dark cloud from here.

It’s surprisingly hard to see much further than the IOW at this time of night, probably wouldn’t look like much
