Looks a bit darker to the east again but looking at the radar it’s weakening, wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t even make it here.

Some quite dark looking clouds about to come over, (can't see them properly as they are coming from the NE and I'd need x-ray vision to see them through the side of the valley we are on )  Looks menacing, but from the radar seem to be just drizzle producers

Having seen between 1-2k Supercells in the past 17 years in the USA the picture I was sent is indeed a weak Supercell - Here is the picture

Oh wow! My mistake then. The radar didnt scream supercell, but i guess they rarely do in this country.

Anybody noticed the elevated storm leaving Calais region look it’s producing sferics

I think that is surface-based rather than elevated, surprised it has that much strength to leave France!

Yh our radar really does suck, suppose the best way is to just get out there and get snapping away

Nice bonus and just goes to show what 500jpg of Cape can do

Oh really. Learn something new everyday I thought when the quality or the radar return is more pixelated it means the precipitation is more elevated and when it’s high tea it’s surface based. Oh well

That looks like it developed over the water so maybe not surface based

and maybe the sea's are warmer than usual due to the fine warm spell the last couple of month's,i don't have the figures for SST's matching previous years but i would imagine someone will post them.

Deal Mr Banker, Deal Deal Deal (although even that might be a fraction too far north and east for me).

Radar of that supercell near Ringwood. Radar can be deceiving at times.

AROME, NMM & UKV all supportive of an elevated MCS moving NW across EA & Lincolnshire very early on Sat. AROME/NMM further south than UKV though.
