Looks from what others had yesterday, we did not have as much rain here.  
Had 22mm of rain up to 4pm yesterday, then a long early evening dry spell, with another 1 mm of light drizzle between 9pm and midnight .
August Monthly total = 38.5mm

Blue skies this morning and lovely strong sunshine.
Was 21c at midnight, a low of 16.9c at 6am.
Now 17.8c, 1002.8 hPa, SW winds 2-5mph

Morning All, after yesterdays rainfall today kicks off with blue skies, after an overnight low of 14.7°C at: 06:39 now at 17.6°C...the beach shot this morning shows the blue skies out to the south, and the loneliness of the single surfer, which to be honest is a bit of a hope, as the winds dropped out after peaking around 35mph across the area, so not the expected blow from ELLEN as first predicted on the various forecasts even around here...

Mostly sunny an quite breezy although it still felt quite warm in the breeze. Reached 21.9°C, currently 18.9°C

Ok, so i”ve been following the weather for a few years now and whilst i might have seen a fair few double circulating lows or whatever the term is, this one is the first triple i’ve seen, there seems to be 3 rotating elements flying around our shires right now?

Morning All, a breezy start to the day, with occasional light rain, overnight low of 18.1°C at: 00:03 has struggled up to the heady high of 18.3°C, with RH81 %, Humidex 22.3°C.. meanwhile the beach this morning has no intrepid beach goers, the sand very much wind blown plenty of spray and some breakers, yet no surfers...

Meanwhile at Boscombe there are some hardly people in the surf...

Morning all! Very windy in KB about midnight here, though nothing terrible.

TORRO FB post this morning asking if there had been any reports of severe weather bit further west. One of the showers around midnight had an interesting signature near to Plymouth.

Must have been reasonably bad as the click and collect marquee at Sainsbury's Marsh Mills had taken a bit of a battering! Marquee was out of service this morning

There was a horrendous hour near Sidmouth around 01.00 . I need to review the radar later as it sounded awesome wind and rain wise.

Very windy, 19.5°C.. quite a few branches off the tree in the garden. Despite only really being affected by north and easterly winds, a few pots and plants in the garden are over. Argh!

A breezy ol day with a maximum of 40.3 mph at: 14:08, so must have been giving what for on the coast for me to see that kinda figure..
