Yep just a light sprinkle... still cloudy. 17.4°C

Yep, we got a bit wet walking from M&S back to Culver Street. It had stopped by the time we'd driven to B&Q. Drizzling a bit now.

Well...how flat lined can a graph be, overnight it looked this way

So an overnight low of 17.5°C at: 04:49 has climbed rapidly to the current temperature of 17.7°C !

Light rain in the area after some patchy rain overnight, with the humidity now 96 % and overcast skies, shown nicely on the beach cam this morning..

Going to be worth the wait. Looks what's coming...

Dull and boring this morning. Breeze has dropped though. (Im)patiently waiting for the good weather to commence.

Just had a few rain showers, 0.4mm. That is the first rain here since 25th July.

A low of 17.4°C here. Feeling rather sticky at the moment, temp 18.4°C.

2.2mm of rain this morning. At least I know my concrete doesn't have any flat spots - no puddles on it. ⛳

Mates in Fawley are saying that it's brightening up down there, now.

Its certainly got brighter outside, will be disappointed if in the next hour or two we aren't into some decent sunny spells. With all the moisture around and light winds I reckon this afternoon will feel pretty humid out there in some sunshine.

It's turned pretty grotesque out there now. Thick drizzle and muggy. Day one of heatwave has failed already.

Started brightening up quite nicely here in Christchurch, so I wouldn't give up on a nice day just yet.

it isn't even even midday yet so plenty of time,  just popped outside,  the sun is shining and it's already feeling quite nice, and I had almost the same weather you are describing only an hour ago!

Looking highly feasible I may break my all-time max temp record on Saturday. UKV / MetOffice going for 31 - 33°C here.

Currently sunny spells and 21.7°C with a dew point of 20.3°C.
