Still dry here but temps are falling. Earlier today there were a few 25C-27C now most stations reporting 23C right across the bay.

Temperature is falling away now, for some reason.. down to 29.9°C now, nonetheless we got to 30.8°C at: 13:23...

Bedroom temp: 27.4°C, expect it'll be 30+ once the house releases the evening heat as per usual!

High cloud to the west and the temperature is below 30 now after reaching 31.5C earlier.

Cloud really got a move on and now it’s clouded over big time. Such a shame... could’ve beat June’s plume had it held off a few more hours.

Completely clouded over now and it’s dropped to 21.7°C. Apart from a short time this morning most of today has been cooler than yesterday here.

I have just looked at some of my statistics.. whenever there's a chance of an absolute maximum, it get's scuppered by cloud in the afternoon. Down to 22°C and grey skies. High bases on the clouds, so no rain at the surface.

We seem to be getting used to days like today. Sudden bursts of heat which then get swept away in the late afternoon by a weak cold front and subsequent change of wind direction.

It happened at least twice last year and this is at least the second this year.

Its cleared the Scilly Isles and what a blue sky they're enjoying down there right now!

And now it's clearing the tip of Cornwall.

I'm hopeful for some Sunshine later this evening. Basically the exact opposite of the current METO forecast for Salisbury.

It's currently cloudy as.

Temperatures here in the range of 18C-22C depending on where you are. But I wouldn't want to be just down the coast in Salcombe right now where thick fog has set in!

I'm hardly surprised on the fog, as the RH is now 81% here rising rapidly once the front reached us...

I can see the Meadfoot and Ilsham hills in Torquay from the Broadsands cam and it looks like its foggy over there aswell. Its a bit too late now anyway to expect any sun today.

A high of 29.9 °C here. A much different feel after the cloud rolled in with a fairly quick drop away from 3:30pm or so.
