Another poor day ahead, claggy, low cloud keeping in cool, annoyingly the breaks in the cloud remain about 10miles off shore.

As Alderc has noted some breaks in the cloud offshore, with an onshore breeze and a general flow onshore the visible breaks in the image below are just beginning to arrive here..

Agree with Andy, Tom. Today's risk is much further North. 

Who knows later in the week. Ignore the apps is all I would say this week.

After this past week where the apps and the models seem to have suffered a hiccup, all to play for this week..

Convection to the North West and North East seems to be reaching that bit higher now. Might squeeze a few showers out yet.

It has turned out to be a very fine afternoon / evening with mostly sunny skies.. a high of 22.7°C at: 15:37...

Mostly sunny from mid-afternoon onwards after a cloudy morning. Reached 17.4°C, currently 15.5°C

It has here Lyn, my boy is going to love this cheese on toast cloud picture! To give a help as to the direction, Cley Hill near Longleat is hidden behind the trees.

This was what I got!  The actual sunset was not spectacular (first photo), but after that it got better as I walked home, the final photo was from home at 21.33.

Morning All, a calm start to the week, with just the slight 2-3mph light breeze, so the sea looks serene this morning with the seagulls paddling.

Overnight low just in to the single digits 9.8°C at: 04:59, currently 15.3°C, RH83% and looking relatively clear out over the channel...

Broken cloud with sunny intervals. 

21.5c. Light breeze. 6mph.

Beautiful day - that’s more like it. Sunny from the start and only scattered cloud. Most importantly... no rain! 22C

The clouds broken up a bit more now and it feels quite a bit warmer despite the temperature not rising that much. 17.4°C

Nice peak of 23.1°C at: 15:34, and as the cloud dips in out and so it varies, but it certainly has felt warm out there.. The cloud layer clearly seen in the enclosed image..not a lot of grockles (or locals today) 

And looking in the other direction..
