It felt identical to October here today - if it wasn't for the strength of the sun I'd be mistaken for thinking it was so. A lot of Stratocumulus here, quite unusual to see so much coming off the North Sea this far in land and this time of year.

Mostly Cloudy with sunny spells and occasional showers of rain and ice pellets. The evening has turned clear and the strong northerly wind which made it felt very cold today has died down.

Coincidentally it was 10 years to the day when wintry precipitation also fell, made memorable because its my birthday!

Min Temp: 4.6C
Mean Wind: 25mph N
Max Gust: 32mph
Sunshine: 4.5hrs
