Batteries for my SLR should be coming tomorrow so hopefully the quality of the pictures will be much better

Going out to see if i can bag a few more,trouble is that i have had a few and i would like to get to a vantage point,not tonight,the view to my north suck's but the view to my south is astonishing and i wish these were viewable to the south lol

i chose to live here for the viewing of storms coming up from the south but beggars can't be chooses.

I pretty much crapped out every time I tried to capture these last year but tonight I finally managed it. This was looking NNE about 11PM. Shame about the foreground but that will do for now

Lol its a crappy Canon EOS 400d from 2010 that has done 132.900 clicks - I really need to get a new camera soon.

Huzzah! Finally. Not the greatest pics by any means but at least now I can say that I have seen them! I ran like a madman to my nearest vantage point when I saw the reports coming in. I have next week off work so hopefully I get further opportunities without worrying about being up late. Need to be careful hanging around London parks though, only so long you can hang around there without being asked what you are selling .
