Really good showing in London and blessed with clear skies. Unfortunately I am in the office early tomorrow so couldn’t stick around too long but a good show whilst it lasted, much better than my last one. I get the feeling sunrise may be very epic if people get lucky with weather.

Just thinking the very same....lots of sightings to the East of us in near Europe....A spike in the radar earlier on....2.30 onwards....are you feeling lucky

I will just be turning in then as i am on afters this week for the first time since March so hopefully plenty more sightings in the next few days,i will try and get some snaps later,twilight permitting without cloud of course.

Apologies, I didn’t realise there was a noctilucent clouds thread! The display here last night was incredible. And there was a nearly full moon opposite them, with Jupiter and Saturn next to it. Stunning skies.

Last nights were strange here in Derby... They looked so promising, early on, but they faded away to next to nothing...mind you we had cloud rolling in and that obscured the horizon, but the high altitude clouds went.

I got up frequently through the night, but saw nothing else.

Same as @mushymanrob, I thought the early showing was a good sign but they did fade rapidly before 11PM. Checked again at 2/3am but nothing.

These two shots were at about 10:30PM, looking North/North-East I think. Happy enough after a week of cloudy skies though.

Yep checked at 2am but clear skies and no action so what we had at 950pm until 1050pm was it last night

Happy with the Windmill shot but gutted the lower display was hidden by trees in full leaf.

Dan thats a nice shot and deffo not Wickford was that down one of the Estuarys ?

You can tell its not Wickford because it actually has something to look at  That was Hullbridge, just a bit past The Smugglers Den.

Where was your windmill shot? I struggle to find anything North facing with a clear horizon around here.

Yes Its lovely to see Rob....The NLC`s didnt tun up for the second half (a bit like the Villa)

Found a comet though...so not all`s bad

Family funeral for me tomorrow so I may a bit bit preoccupied
