Went out but would you believe it? The only clouds in the sky obscured the northern horizon! Plus still no daisy update, so i cant hang about all night just in case.

I rushed out the house and caught these this evening at half 11 just as the frontal clouds were beginning to roll in, its the first NC sighting for me this year so i'm pleased with that. Better weather on the way for this weekend with another 2 months in the season left.

Top notch there Sprites...Whether it was the earlier thunder storms but there was a lovely amber underglow to that nights display

comes to a thing.... when you have to start forcasting clear nights

Well according to my favourite 'clear night' model ..... it`s begining to favour Sun/Mon.

Overcast for tonight

Shame.... 3 days out.. back at 11 o`clock looks like an arm extending down to lower latitudes

And Wow....what`s that coming over the hill..... on the Baltic radar

I wish they would hurry up with the Norwegian radar  ...and put another krone in the slot

Saw some thin white threads from about 2:45am, until 3:30, took photos, but they are barely visible ( tablet camera) and not worth posting.  Not a lot of cloud around at the moment, 4:25am and a lovely sunrise.  Back in work next week 7am starts, so pre-sunrise watching for me will only be at weekends. Will enjoy all pics and videos posted instead.
