When will we reach 30c?

The last year to not reach 30c was 1993, though Heathrow failed in 2008, 2007, 1993, 1991.

we must be getting more 32c 90f or higher days each summer than in olden days.

30-32c has been achieved more often since 1975. Before that year, 32c wasn’t as commonplace for extended periods of time. 
 

I could be wrong, but 1975 seems to mark an earlier period of warming, before the 1980s shift.

1983 and beyond seems to be a period when 32c or higher has been achieved more frequently, despite the poor run of summers between 85-88, 32c was still reached in some of those years.

 

Despite the warming, we still get poor summer temps, stuck in the low to high teens. Today being a perfect example of that. Only 16c in Eastbourne today.
