Clear for the first part of the night, low cloud spreading in from the east early hours. Dawning overcast. Cloud slowly thinning and breaking this morning, sunny spells developing.

Clear until after midnight but low cloud could be seen on the eastern horizon at 0030 g.m.t and this spread west during the early hours giving hill fog for a few hours. The fog cleared by 0530 g.m.t and the resulting cloud is just beginning to break as I type.
