Lenticular clouds are often mistaken for UFOs or spaceships. Formed downwind of high ground as air undulates in mountain waves they are usually Altocumulus, sometimes Cirrocumulus.

I didn't notice the halo whilst looking at the lower Lenticular clouds

but it showed up on the photo
