Incoming? No gap to go through at the moment, although the red blob to the east didn’t actually do anything here but the one to the west looks tasty.

I don't count hearing a couple of distant rumbles. It has to be a direct hit or nothing at all.

Well it was coming this way but now it’s heading over the sea. Still plenty of rumbles coming from it

Yeah, it was a lovely little storm! Just been watching it from an upstairs window with the kids

I filmed it for a while, was thinking of posting it, but the kids where making more noise than the storm

Oh I love storms, but nothing in this part of the world interests me in the least. I don't get excited by a few distant rumbles. I'll be going to New Orleans in August in one of the next few years so I'm looking forward to getting my storm fix then!

Sheffield seems to be in a "black hole" for storms maybe because of the pennines immediately to the west/north?

Ah, I'd love to visit the US and see some proper storms, or even storms! Perhaps in a few years once I've paid some debts off I can save up and go for a 2 week storm chasing trip!

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
