Is there a chance of the big storm off the coast of NW France being a supercell? It definitely reminds me of the characteristics one would have.

No its just an elevated storm - Supercells are extremely rare in these parts. Not every storm is a supercell and you can certainly have severe storms (which none of these are even anywhere near severe currently) which are not supercells

16:00 Storms Go z North Showers Ein France develop.

17:00They move north. Cooling shrinking but expanding as the heat lasts.

18:00 Most Of Them arrive fully fledged again and stretching out meaning they curl and create a lot of windBut rarely move at an extremely large Pace.

19:00The last one's of the 16:00 coastline storms arrive but not as fully Fledged.

20:00 New ones finish the evening off as lightning Becomes extremely frequent....

Nice looking storm in NW France coming our way hopefully, but not reaching its full potential in terms of cloud height?

Could anyone tell me if I will get anything in Ramsgate in the south east

You could definitely have a chance of seeing some distant lightning shows - not too sure about anything overhead but it is possible.

Hmm I think as I'm right next to the ocean could get quite potent through the night

I think late at night you'll see 2 or 3 storms roll in all at once but 1 or 2 of them will leave because the Jet Stream Is on one side of them whilst the other is stronger.....

Impressive looking sky just behind the second band of rain that has passed through!

Camera and tripod and lightning trigger are ready just in case. There’s an area of land about 2 mins away I can drive to which looks sort of south.

We could do - looking at the precip heading our way out of France, it seems to building still. Not a lot of lightning in it at the moment, some over northern France so we’ll see how it develops over the next hour or so!

The scale on some of these charts are horrendous when trying to deal small amounts of Cape.

The sky is looking the part!

Hoping we at least get some rain as far northwards as where I live.  Been field fires for the last couple days between where I live and Chell/Bradeley.  We need a good damp down

Same here in Leicester (not the fires thankfully). We’ve not had rain in what seems weeks but looking at the radar it looks like we could see a few drops at least!
