Wow. I timelapsed that Peterborough cell before it produced lightning. Can't wait to see the footage.

International Space Station just passed over again with the Essex storms clearly visible

Looks lovely on the south coast with the Isle of Wight in view all the way to Dover and across to Calais

Tiny little cumulus cloud just popped up above me and giving some big drops of rain but not much. Nice try! Can see the Peterborough storm in the distance though.

Mid-level convection here with evaporative rain here in the Peaks, the radar suggests heavy bursts but i've just had my hour's walk on the hill and although there's rain-bands visible nothing is yet making it to the ground.

So close yet so far. Heard a faint rumble off that one to the South. Only very slowly heading E so it was going to miss us anyway!
