Pulse storms but a lot further south and east than anticipated, and a little earlier too. 28°c here so if the cap can break we’re in with a chanceimageproxy.php?img=&key=8d7953939bb9d610

Temperatures well above anticipated too!!

Some big towers going up over Lincolnshire and Leics up towards Notts. Expecting radar returns there soon.

Glad there’s been initiation for a few!

Huge towers over Sheffield way looking from here in Chesterfield

International Space Station passing over England shortly so should get a decent view of the current situation. Switch them both to Maximum HD for best picture

Sharp downpour to the NW of Sheffield, over Stocksbridge and a heavy shower in the vicinity of Barnsley & Rotherham, too. Skies hazy and humid looking.

@Flash Bang - 28 c in Godalming? Better shut your oven door.

Nothing around the Reigate area and a much more moderate 23 c (excellent for April were the garden not looking like a Texas dust bowl). Light alto cumulus and not that humid.

I notice the London storm - maybe a heat-island effect?

Happy watching all. I'll remain in my storm-free (two years running) zone.

Too much high level stuff to see what is happening 'underneath'. The next pass should see more of southern England

The Wash top right, with Lincolnshire also partly in view

CropperCapture[14].jpg

Anglesey and NW Wales top right

Yay! I’ve got drizzle! :wallbash:

On the up side for those much further south than me, something looks to be kicking off around the Slough area. ?️
