A much colder start than the past few days, especially the 11.3 C yesterday morning, today 1.2 C, no sign of ground frost now in the almost unbroken sunshine and temperature now on 3.7 C but a low of 1.2 C

Mainly clear overnight, widespread ground frost forming. Dawning frosty and sunny. At observation, sunny, warming quickly.

A lovely spring day, light breeze, plenty of sun although more Cirrus now making it hazier, a max of 20.8 C, the warmest here since 23 September 2019.
