A fine, sunny day with a high of 24.4C. Pretty close to my ideal summer’s day.

The temperature has fallen rapidly this evening though, only 17C now. That north east breeze is natural air conditioning and my flat already feels much cooler than it did this morning.

Absolutely beautiful evening here in Andover. 23 degrees with a very light breeze which gives you a nice cooling cuddle every few seconds. Wonderful.

Lovely mate! Was at the Grand Hotel last Fri and Sat. Decent weather then

We don’t have the pleasure of them stunning palm trees here in Brum or for most parts of the UK if I’m thinking about it ....but here’s one I made earlier

Hopefully next year you’ll be able to go. Great that you can use your friends garden. Must be difficult in the heat without a bit of outside space. Despite the hot days here, the nights have cooled down pretty quickly after 21:00, need my blanket sitting outside tonight lol

Yes it is very warm sitting in a studio flat.

And yes, even after a hot day, it can cool off pretty quickly in the countryside.

That'd be quite something to see 32°C here again tomorrow.

Still 24°C here - really nice!

Rubbish end to what started as a nice day, 22c at 11am. Sea fret rolled in at 4pm, temp dropped to 15c, with strong cool breeze, gotta love the N/E coast

The winds changed to the NE today. Huge difference for us. Rooms in the north wing of the house are so much cooler with the winds coming in off the estuary. Such a welcome relief.

Yes, it's not been so bad in this part of the country!

The North Sea cloud has made it right down to here, although it’s broken at the moment, hopefully will burn back quickly for all. Likely to be a slow burn on temps today again.

No danger of really high temps today is this cloud doesn’t clear sharpish! The temperature is still falling here...

North sea cloud here too, nagging breeze. Was 14.5c at 5.30am here when i got up to make up a bottle, did not feel like dawn you would expect in a hot spell. Had to close all the windows!

Heatwave? What heatwave!

More overhyped rubbish more like.

One day of upper 20s on Friday then upper teens yesterday and grey skies this morning with another day of fresh north easterly winds

The cloud this morning was forecast, and was forecast to clear quickly which the satellite imagery shows is happening.

Not sure about quickly but it depends on where one lives.

Grey skies here and just 16c
