The first half of the night was cloudy with short, squally showers of rain and hail. The second half of the night was mainly clear and it was a clear and sunny start to this morning until 10 minutes ago when it rapidly clouded over. Now we have a moderate snow shower.

A snow shower this morning but after this cleared around  0930 it was mainly dry with sunny spells and a westerly wind reaching gale force at times, especially this afternoon.
