Heavy rain during Saturday evening has cleared away to leave it dry cloudy and windy with the south westerly gusting close to 50mph

Showers of sleet and rain yesterday evening cleared by 2200 and the rest of the night was mainly dry with clear periods and a strong SW wind. Sunny periods and a couple of brief showers of ice pellets so far today.

A few light soft hail showers with 2 snow showers one quite heavy,still some patchy snow left from yesterday temp 4.8c

Gone pretty windy again,feeling cold SWly.

A couple of brief showers of ice pellets this afternoon but for most of the time it was dry with sunny intervals. Windy until late afternoon, then the wind began to decrease and the cloud cleared.
