Light rain and mild no sign so far of storm borg or whatever it's called so far

Mild, dry and cloudy for much of the night and then a spell of rain, briefly heavy, early this morning as the cold front moved east. Cloudy with one or two light showers since the main rain area moved through.

A much better day so far than forecast. A very short spell of moderate rain before mid morning then light rain clearing to sunny spells. Up at Ladybower light rain dying away and the sun coming out. Light winds at home and at Ladybower. The lack of heavy rain will be welcome round here for a few people.

Sunny intervals and occasional showers of snow or snow pellets. One snow shower was heavy enough to give a temporary thin covering around 1330 but it soon thawed once the sun came out.
