A dry night with clear periods at first and then increasing cloud from late evening onwards. Snow arrived by 0715 and there's been continuous light-moderate snow since then

Some bonus Snow this morning which turned to rain by lunch time just when it got heavy enough to start settling. Rain became light in the afternoon and now just the odd drizzle shower. A mild day after a cold start

Max temp so far 8.8C, Barometer 988mb falling rapidly, Wind F2 SE, Rainfall 9.6mm since midnight.

Moderate snow all morning gave 7cm by midday after which time the temperature rose above 0c and the snow turned to sleet, then rain. The ran gave way to continuous drizzle from around 1430 and the drizzle became intermittent by 1830. Thick fog from 0700-1700 and a steady thaw of lying snow this afternoon as it gradually became mild.
