Any clear spells early yesterday evening were soon filled in by increasing cloud and intermittent sleet arrived shortly after midnight followed by a period of dry weather before further sleet, heavy at times, reached here shortly before 0500. This quickly turned to rain with continuous moderate rain since then. Hill fog from around 0430 has just lifted.
