Certainly doesn't feel like a cold spell is looming.  Time of year for you, the day before the 2018 BFTE part 2 kicked in felt distinctly springlike at 13C, yet within 24 hours is was 0C with snow showers!

First springlike day of the year here. Attempted to go out without the coat but the wind was still a bit chilly, nice in the sun however. Long may this continue.

Photos from a few days ago in Surrey, before the lockdown.

A very spring-like day, but possibly the least spring-like photos as they show nothing that wasn't already visible in February.

Quite a wintry snap here in Prague with -6°C last night and -16°C recorded in the southern part of the country. Snow showers yesterday but sunny all day today, lovely. Getting a bit of colour on my face after a couple of days gardening.

Absolute garbage here. Despite being right in the path of the cold surge, the forecast low temperatures and snow somehow downgraded at the last minute. Instead we're just left with nuisance cold. It nearly reached double figures today. Some cold blast!

Meanwhile, further south and further away from the Russian Express the Balkans are getting buried in snow (even low-lying places like Belgrade). How the hell is this even possible?

Just go away Extended Winter 2019/20 with your cruel teasing.

Read earlier on BBC Weather's Twitter that even Tunis and Algiers could see rain there turn to snow

I'm more pleased to see some dry, sunny weather. No rain forecast for where I am until the 5th/6th April. Susnhine all the way to then with SE/NNE winds. Bliss.

Frosty mornings. This month may hvaem more days with minima below 1C than February and January lol.

March looks like it could end up preety dry for many, after a wettish start, indeed the ground is drying up nicely here after all the winter rain. Mother nature has a habit of balancing itself out, won't mention again but many a long dry period followed by a lengthy wet one and vice-versa, are we seeing a switch to the drier period now I wonder, after a lengthy very wet period..

And a cooler one too it looks like. We have had mild days like today in some places but still this March has been around average though for some reason Hadley is suggesting an anonymity of 1.6C, whilst Metcheck's GFS is suggesting a 0.4C anomaly. Certainly a very sunn march

Hail for me at the end of the week, so could be a chance that could turn to snow/sleet or certainly in other parts of the country. I could have sworn there was some sleet where i was earlier this month but nothing said on weather forecast or apps.

It feels quite cold here, despite the sunshine. Got down to -4°C overnight but in southern Bohemia again (near the border with Austria) -18°C was reached. The sunshine is lovely to see, though I’d rather it was warmer now. Haven’t had much of a winter at all here this year.

Lovely seeing the blue skies over London not filled with contrails! ☀️

Also noticeable is the low humidity here this week, currently 13°C and dew point -5°C.

Beautiful day. Out in the garden and feels really nice.

I see we are back to Day10 on the possible chance of snow again. It was Sunday that had some potential snowfall last time I checked a few days ago. Chasing rainbows continue!

Roll on a dry hot summer.

What's the point of a hot summer when you'll have to spend it in doors?

As said earlier, it is premature but the 2nd/3rd update of GWV continue to support a cooler than average summer, dry at times but unsettled with a wet August and July.

Research is suggesting that coronavirus thrives in dry, temperate climates, which would explain why places like Africa nad the tropics have been spared.

Love the view you have there!

Great past week of weather, got the grass cut. Let’s hope no cold and snow until November.
