Yesterday's showers soon died out and it was then dry with clear periods until the early hours when high and medium level cloud began to increase and thicken, eventually bringing drizzle by about 0700.

Dry and cloudy, with this prolonged windy spell continuing. I'm beginning to wonder how long it's been since we had such a long sequence of windy days, with plenty more to come. Maximum 10.3, minimum 4.1. Wind fresh SW.
