As in never experience them again, which would it be and why?

Edit: the reason for the choices are that they seem to be the three favourite weather's on here. So rather than get rid of weather's no one wants, you have to eliminate a popular one.

Scorching sun would be my choice.  I always find exceptionally hot sunny weather oppressive and it is often difficult to escape the overwhelming heat, whereas, if it is cold and snowy you can put additional layers on and get the fire going to keep warm.

Snow. I love thunderstorms, in fact the sheer absence of them here means it's practically an obsession so I just watch endless tropical storm videos in Florida and Malaysia on the internet.

Scorching sun, well I like warm, sunny days and I never find the sun too scorching in England at all, it's just not that strong to me.

Snow I can live without, because after the initial novelty I don't like the ice rink pavements and slippery slushy rubbish that lingers for a while afterwards, and I don't like cold anyway.

Scorching sun. I like sunny mild weather but not too hot.

Easy one for me, scorching sun. Snow and Thunderstorms my 2 favourite weather conditions and I am not a fan of it being too hot (25 C is usually plenty) though of course heat can bring more intense thunderstorms so I don't mind it in that sense

Not a fan of heat/scorching sun but thankfully we don't get it often here in the north west. I couldn't live in the south east corner especially London given how hot it can get there on a more regular basis. Must be unbearably sweaty on the tube in Summer. Only been on it once but not during Summer, even that was enough. Too many people for starters.

Those who voted "snow" aren't too far from having their wish granted...

Can I just have drizzle. Anyone in NW England would sacrifice all of the above just to get rid of drizzle.

I guess I'll have to dump the snow then? Not that I'd be missing much!

Can’t vote as wind not included. Obviously a light breeze is fine, but I’d gladly never be in a  windy day ever again. Sick to death of it.

I can't vote because its windstorms that I would happily loose. They bring nothing but misery and destruction, no enjoyment from them at all!

Snow, easily. Only average 3 days of it falling per year.  Hot, sunny days and thunderstorms are far more common and more fun as well.

Snow, simply because it’s not a very frequent occurrence down here anyways. Love the hot sun in the summer, and thunderstorms

Seconded, thirded and fouthed mate! :oldgood:
That and endless days of grey skies of nothingness! :bad:

But being as they're not on the voting list I've had to vote to loose the snow! Don't get me wrong, I like a bit of snow, but I now just find it too disruptive and hard work.
For me it was actually a very close call between the snow and the scorching sun, as I'm not really a heat lover either... But what made go for the snow was that with the scorching sun, it sooner or later will give us some juicy thunderstorms... Plus after the scorching summer sun comes my true love, autumn.
So for me its was 'pain for gain', and the snow lost. ☀️?️?️⛈️

Snow for sure, sun is vital for life but snow and thunderstorms aren't, however thunderstorms more fun compared to snow so would keep them. Sun is just lovely.

Snow. Barely see it anyway so it wouldn't make much difference banishing it for good.

Scorching sun. No worries about 35c + heatwaves then!

Scorching sun easy, while I enjoy sunshine when it’s too intense it’s not enjoyable to be out in I search for shade. When I was Italy in July 2022 and August 2023, it was brutal our more northern latitude does help definitely a reason the 40C is very hard to see. I’m always quite mindful being in hot sun, skin cancer runs on my mum’s side. Snow whilst the most uncommon here, it is one of the most cherished weather events and I experience the most joy from which I’ve had since a small boy. 🙂

Daniel* I absolutely agree with you on that one. I spent over a month in Southern Italy in 2022 and 2023 with my Italian boyfriend and his family. The heat was horrendous (over 45 degrees for many days) and the sun was just causing spontaneous fires to break out along the sides of roads (we actually had to report one). It was incredible to experience that kind of intensity, but also frightening how hard an environment it is to live in even for those used to intense summers. I'm moving there soon and it's the one thing I have reservations about, knowing it is set to get far worse in the coming years. It really didn't help that my parents were telling me how miserable and cold it was in the UK... I told them. Be careful what you wish for... 😂 And I love the snow, even the very small amount we get where I live. I really worry that will become a memory of the past like the way my grandparents remember the brutal winters of the the 60's now, and that my (future) children may never experience it.
